Sims welcomes new partner Secto Automotive

Alexander Sims and Secto Automotive have entered a new partnership to highlight the company’s low carbon transport solutions during the 2019/20 ABB FIA Formula E Championship.

The partnership marks the Finnish company’s tenth anniversary in supporting businesses and individuals with cost effective low carbon vehicle leasing solutions. In 2010, Secto Automotive leased the first ever electric vehicle (EV) in Finland, with EV technology and demand within the country taking huge leaps in the last decade. Secto branding will appear on Sims’ cap and he will support in developing profile-raising content for the business.

“In 2020, Secto will celebrate a decade of pioneering the EV leasing business. Transportation is changing globally, and we are rethinking the industry and providing innovative service products that fit our customers’ individual needs. With a decade of success, and having seen EV technology and the market dramatically improve and grow, what better way to celebrate than to support Alexander Sims, a man who proves on a daily basis that responsibility, performance and fun go perfectly together when driving an electric vehicle,” says Matias Henkola, CEO of Secto Automotive.

Secto Automotive is the largest domestic leasing company in Finland, providing over 8,000 vehicles to 3,500 customers. Of these, currently ten per cent are electric vehicles, a proportion the business aims to grow significantly over the next two years. Secto wants to challenge traditional vehicle ownership models and create new service solutions based on the needs of its customers, with a personal service at its core, supported by its high quality and wide-ranging transport solutions.
