Non Plastic Beach is an online retail and wholesale supplier of alternatives to single-use plastic from its base in South Oxfordshire, UK. Founded by husband and wife team Gareth and Nicola, the business has grown from humble origins to working with some of the world’s biggest brands, from Salomon Sports, to Etihad Airways and Nissan GB to Urban Outfitters.

Non Plastic Beach offers products under its own brand which replace disposable plastic items with longer lasting and or more sustainable alternatives. All of its products must meet its three point “Effective, Affordable and Sustainable” mantra to make sure that the products works as well or better than the plastic alternative, is affordable to buy and is genuinely better for the environment.

Non Plastic Beach sells everything from bamboo toothbrushes, to shampoo and conditioner bars, washing up soap to toothpaste tablets and a whole host in between. The online brand sells via and through a range of independent and larger retailers, as well as tourist attractions and online retailers.

“For some time now, I’ve been trying to make everyday choices and incorporate habits that make my lifestyle more sustainable, including paying close attention to what I use when I’m away racing.

“It’s fantastic to be able to partner with Non Plastic Beach and to experience its range of plastic-free products. Hopefully together we can highlight how they can be equally effective and affordable as conventional items, but crucially more sustainable.”

“To work with someone who really believes in reducing their impact and in an arena where it hasn’t been the easy choice is really exciting for us, and we are looking forward to supplying our plastic reducing products to Alexander and his family.
