Back on Track at Sebring

Sebring, USA. (March 23, 2026) – Adorned in a special red, white and blue livery in celebration of ‘America 250’, the #3 Pratt Miller Motorsports Corvette piloted by Alexander Sims, Antonio Garcia and Marvin Kirchhöfer overcame an early pace deficit to secure a P4 finish at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

Following the heartbreak of Daytona back in January, Alexander and the team headed into the weekend looking for a strong result, taking on the infamous bumps of the Sebring International Raceway in their Chevrolet Corvette Zo6 GT3.R.

During Friday’s qualifying, Antonio Garcia battled to match the speed and set up of the most competitive GTD Pro cars, but was able to maximise the warm conditions to clock a best lap of 1:59.295, placing the car 6th on the grid ahead of Saturday’s race, exceeding expectations from earlier in the weekend.

In the opening hours of the gruelling 12-hour race, the team executed a strong pit stop strategy that kept the #3 Corvette in contention as the track evolved, and continued to behave competitively during the daylight hours. At night when the temperature dropped, it became crucial for Alexander and his teammates to maintain consistent lap times as the operating window narrowed and the pace wasn’t as strong.

After a frantic final few hours on track, Alexander’s #3 Corvette crossed the line in fourth, incredibly close to the podium position that was ultimately occupied by his Pratt Miller Motorsports teammates in the #4 car.

ALEXANDER SIMS, NO. 3 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “It felt like we had more pace in our car during the day. Then as the night fell, it felt like the operating window on the 3 car was just really quite narrow. It was very tough to get right consistently lap after lap. So our pace wasn’t so strong, to be honest. But I’m really pleased for the 4 guys. Nicky was absolutely flying out there. They had it hooked up, so I’m pleased for them to get a podium and good team points. Obviously after Daytona, it’s just nice to get good solid points. Well done to the entire team.”
