Having installed a 10 kW air source heat pump on a previous home, I was keen to reap the benefit when we bought our new family home.
A 16 kW heat pump has been installed on the main house and 12 kW heat pump on the holiday let annex so guests too are leaving a minimal ‘footprint’.
Internally we’ve upgraded the radiators to be oversized (deeper rather than wider so making the wall space they take up more efficient). All downstairs has underfloor heating making the heat pump more effective and easier to install.
