Sims on the podium at Brands Hatch

British GT Championship: Century Motorsport and Alexander Sims finish third at Brands Hatch

BMW M works driver Alexander Sims enjoyed a successful return to the British GT Championship after a seven year absence.

Alexander is contesting the final two race events of the season for Century Motorsport in the #91 BMW M4 GT3.   He shared the cockpit with Henry Dawes who is racing in a GT3 car for the first time.

The penultimate race of the season was held at Brands Hatch on Sunday 11th September – and Sims and Dawes secured Century Motorsport’s first ever spot on the overall podium in the British GT Championship GT3 category.

The duo crossed the finish line in third place after a turbulent race.  Alexander also recorded the fastest lap of the race – a feat he also managed on his last appearance in the British GT Championship in 2015.
