To the ‘Green Hell’ and back in an EV

In order to compete and defend our title in this years Nurburgring 24 hrs, I first had to race in the third round of the NLS series at the ‘Green Hell’. Straight forward enough…except that I was on the simulator all day Thursday and had to be in Germany first thing Friday.  There were no … Read more

Harder, better, faster, stronger

Ahead of this season, I’ve made a concerted effort to improve my strength and fitness to ensure I’m ready for all the physical challenges that come with competing in both Formula E and IMSA endurance events. In fact, I’ve probably trained more in the past six months than in the past six years! I’ve always … Read more

Kia e-Niro 4+: First impressions

This year we’ve welcomed a Kia e-Niro* to the Sims family fleet, and so far I’ve been pretty impressed. I’ve been driving an EV as my daily run-around since 2012 and have tested a fair few models in that time. Having thoroughly researched the market I’ve opted for the Kia e-Niro 4+, which has a … Read more

It’s been great getting to know everyone in my ‘bubble’; learning how the team operates and works together. … Read more

There are lots of little changes that we can make in our everyday lives that have a big difference in the long run. One of these is reducing our consumption of single-use plastic. So, this Christmas, instead of giving gifts that will eventually end up in landfill, how about gifting your family and friends some … Read more

A unique challenge: Endurance racing with Corvette

I’m excited to announce that I will be competing with Corvette Racing and supporting the team at endurance races for the upcoming 2021 season. I’ll compete in the all-new Corvette C8.R at IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship endurance races – the Rolex 24 at Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans. The Corvette Racing … Read more

Conquering the Nordschleife
